Went to the half mile the other day to test my setup. Learned how to slip the clutch a bit and came out with a good trap speed at 150.9 in 4th gear. I had a little bit of spinning going from 1-2 but it is what it is. I wonder what other ppl run with similar setups? Is this the fastest camaro ss 1le heads cam on stock compression?! I guess so, no data no proof

So when you replaced your hood, trunk and put in an anti-gravity battery you only dropped 60lbs? For some reason I thought it would be more than that. No disrespect because I know ever ounce counts.

The hood is pretty much a hog wash, it probably saved about 2-5lbs max, it’s more for heat extraction. The majority came from the trunk and battery. Overall it’ll definitely make a difference vs your competitors depending on what you’re doing.

Finally got around to installing my BMR parts I got a long time ago! I guess it was worth the wait since I did everything myself. Time for an alignment now and see how planted it really is. I may do the toe rods and endlinks but we’ll see how it goes

I made the best decision and mod I think anybody could add if you own a manual camaro and that is upgrading the shift knob. I decided to get a weighted shift knob from Raceseng. They shift knobs are known of high quality and tend to be expensive but they are going out of business is have some great deals on their products. I recently purchased one and its a game changer! I surprised I didnt do this sooner. I added the extender to mine and it drastically improved my shifting experience. Go check out their site while you can and get some stuff. It will be shut down for good 12/31.

https://raceseng.com/collections/camaro-2016-2022

Shift Knob Shown: The Slammer
Weight: 1.4lbs
Extender: 1.8in

They have another called Ashiko and it's 1.6lbs so you have a few to choose from.

I don’t know how this got in my garage but RaceTech x 1LE collaboration is always welcomed. These seats are wayyyy more comfortable than the RECAROs! The upper bolstering really helped out for broad shoulders like I have. The RECAROs are great for daily and will hug you in but this is like a lazyboy
