ZL1 Convertible Magntic Ride Tuning....
Curious if the Magnetic ride control on the convertible is tuned differently than the Coupe? Or possible the shocks different?

No. It's the exact same suspension for the coupe and convertible.
What makes you think otherwise? |

Either way. I wouldn't be worrying any sleep wondering if the coupe has better MRS tuning over the convertible. |

I am just looking to see if there may be some easy enhancements, after doing some research I see smaller rear sway bar on the convertible really doesnt have any upgrade options, yet I was surprised the convertible still held 1g on the skid pad vs the coupe 1.02.
I had a stingray convertible that I did a track pack sway bar upgrade on as well as Z06 calipers and it made a huge difference.(Stingrays actually didnt come with a rear swaybar). So I was looking to see what could be done here, GM also offered a mag ride enhancement for the C7 that made a significant difference in handling and Jim Mero offers tuning on some corvettes. I am happy with the car, i am just not one to leave well enough alone lol |

It really depends on how you use the car if it is worth it to you. It is fully programmable from a laptop, but the settings right out of the box were good enough for me. Like I said before, In touring mode, it is Cadillac soft and in Track mode it is close to 1LE DSSV stiff.

I don't think the baseline programming that comes with the DSC are worth it unless there's something specific you want to accomplish, otherwise making venue specific adjustments is the real benefit. You can make up significant amounts of time by tailoring the damping to the track or autox surface.
