I need more fuel and I was hoping that this would be a good option.

It's not finished up yet. I believe his guy doing the install is working on a different solution for the oil system. I was told the Drawback to these belt driven pumps was that they were self-contained and required oil change every 1k miles.

That sounds like a pain. Thank you for the heads-up.

Those XDI belt driven pumps were pretty unreliable if memory serves. I inquired multiple times with them about running one and they were always on production hold. Cool idea but just don’t think they ever got it to where it needed to be reliability wise.

It’s still being finished. I’m having an oil feed and return made. Feed will come off the oil pressure sensor and return will be ran back down to the oil pan. The recommended oil service interval is 1k miles if racing or every year/5k miles if it’s a street car. When I talked to XDI I was told the pump failures were from people not changing the oil. They plan on making these pumps again with an oil feed provision once parts to make the pumps become readily available.

The Corvette on the other hand had lots of issues relating to the bearings in the pump because it had to be run on the supercharger belt drive which puts a ton of load on the pump bearings. |

We have more experience with the XFP3600 set up than anyone else. We stopped supporting them when they ran into production issues and we could no longer get the pumps from XDI. |

I’m going from a 8.4/2.83 pulley setup to a 9.45/3.15 to help belt wrap. I’m interested to see how it works out with a LPE HPFP on the engine side. I’m hoping I can now max the +65 injectors out holding 25-2,600psi.

It’s almost done. All that needs done is the interchiller spacers installed with the blower, refit the air intake for the 112TB/snout and prime the engine for startup.

Looking good. Interested to see how far you can push that system…should make a ton of power.
