Thanks! I liked that it’s AMG’s last naturally aspirated V8 and technically a 6.2L, just like our motors. But it’s DOHC and bangs off 7400 RPM shifts. One tech at Mercedes in Germany builds the engine from start to finish, and signs the intake manifold when done. It’s built like a bank vault and for an “older” truck I really enjoy it.

I never heard of anyone trying to get a PB in worse DA.

Get this, I drive up 2.5 hrs to NED last Oct to get some good air and a PB. They must of announced they were not opening that night because when I go there they were closed because "IT WAS TOO COLD"
Dude, I would of had that 11.7 maybe 11.6 pass in -1000 DA. Have you ever heard of a track closing because it was too cold? You should see the pissed off people it was nice and sunny all damn day!

Agreed, as long as the track wasn’t ice cold, the combo of a warm track and cold air is magic.

My previous motor's best was at 7000 DA and this one's best was at 3500. The lowest altitude track that I can get to would be a day's drive to Kansas City at 750 feet so it would be real difficult to find a day from 750 mi away that would be better than DA 750-1500 in Kansas City

Yeah I noticed you're up there dude. Your car is a beast running those numbers in DA like that. Both you and Joshinator99 have bad ass cars.
Here I am bitching about missing a 11.7 run in -1000 DA


Joshinator99 I think if you try out NED you'll run a little faster. DA is usually better there and track elevation is 121' vs 649' at LVD
