deatschwerks x2 pump

trying to wrap my head around if my tune is messed up or if adding this pump (x2 dw400) was originally get fuel codes, which have been turned off since.
with the same tune as before the pump the car now goes from lean to rich to lean again under light load. Car acts like its chocking.

1st pump currently has straight power with the OEM pump control wire(grey) second pump is boost reference with the aux pump.

port is firing when commanded

fuel pressure shows around 70psi on the log the during all of this.

I'm not sure how much help this will be, but that's all I'm trying to offer. The actual/measured fuel pressure stays at 70-psi the whole time the car is bucking (if I understand what you're describing)? Is there TMA or throttle issues? Is the PI coming in around this time? What's commanded EQ?

I have a Katech in-tank twin pump bucket. Katech uses DW400s (a venturi and standard), at least that's what I have. So - maybe this will be helpful. Maybe not. I'm no tooner.

So far, I don't see any codes with the primary pump and mostly OEM settings. The aux' pump is coming in and seems to be reacting to what I'm commanding the REFLEX to do, so that seems like it's tracking fine (and I really like how I can ramp the REFLEX to come in smooth). I'm still trying to figure out how to get the primary pump output to match the requested fuel pressure though. At idle, it matches pretty darn close - enough such that I don't feel the need to worry. However - as soon as HOT or HIGH PRESSURE fuel modes kick-in, the pump doesn't change with the request with consistency or certainty.

By watching the INSTANTANEOUS FUEL FLOW in the SCANNER, I've been tinkering around in the BASE DUTY CYCLE table, and raising it in the areas it seems like pressure isn't responding as I am commanding. I'm also looking at voltage and the MINIMUM DUTY CYCLE table and trying to see if bringing-up the minimum pressure will help. I'm increasing the values in these places to see if I get any improvement. So - I have a little ways to go, and maybe I'm wrong, but I'll find out.

I wish I could be more helpful. There are definitely more knowledgeable people here by magnitudes greater than I could express. I'm just trying to pay back what I've gotten through experiences I've had so far. I still have lots' to learn.

Is it oscillating like that at WOT or only at light load? Are you using the wideband feedback with the Reflex?

hey mike I'm using DW drop in not the katech, im not sure if that really matters. But for your question i haven't been able to comfortable go wot with the car with what I'm seeing on the AFR side of things. Car doesn't drive smooth right now even with the adjusted file.
Its set up per DW, so not sure if the return is screwing with it or not.
i have my manual regulator set at 70 psi and on the log the psi stays.
not sure what i should be looking over on the log. half tempted to throw the car on the lift and work on rewiring how it receives its signal.

Also getting a p0181 code for fuel temp.

I'd be data logging, if you aren't already. That will be the way to see and find out what's going on.

Did you remove the check valve in the low side line? I assume you ran a larger fuel line from the tank to the high side. Which if you did, you'll need to put a check valve back in the system somewhere.

I thought my kit had a check valve after my filter but I might have only put it on the aux side now thinking about it.
