So,
I did find a slightly better method for the Mexico cars. https://www.placaapi.mx/ This website has an API that takes your username (you have to make an account) and a license plate number and it will return information regarding that car. I skimmed through their documentation PDF (CTRL+F lol) and found the section on Mexico. Which gives the endpoint/URL for the Mexico API: https://www.placaapi.mx/api/reg.asmx?op=CheckMexico Since I found #067 on Instagram, and the person took a nice clear video of the plate: HUK 554 A Inputting that (HUK554A) into the RegistrationNumber field on the CheckMexico URL with my username returned this data: Code:
<Vehicle xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns="http://regcheck.org.uk"> <vehicleJson>{ "Description": "GENERAL MOTORS DE MEXICO SDE R CAMARO Z 2 PUERTAS 8 CIL 5 PAS", "RegistrationYear": "2024", "CarMake": { "CurrentTextValue": "GENERAL MOTORS DE MEXICO SDE R" }, "CarModel": { "CurrentTextValue": "CAMARO Z 2 PUERTAS 8 CIL 5 PAS" }, "MakeDescription": { "CurrentTextValue": "GENERAL MOTORS DE MEXICO SDE R" }, "ModelDescription": { "CurrentTextValue": "CAMARO Z 2 PUERTAS 8 CIL 5 PAS" }, "Class": "", "Type": "", "VIN": "1G1F91R61R0105617", "NCI": "4N9560KF", "Doors": "", "Country": "", "Version": "CAMARO Z 2 PUERTAS 8 CIL 5 PAS", "EngineSize": "", "Cylinders": "", "Axles": "", "AssemblyPlant": "", "Institution": "GENERAL MOTORS DE MEXICO", "RegistrationDate": "12/12/2023", "IssueDate": "12/12/2023", "LastUpdate": "12/12/2023", "CertifiateOfRegistration": "6656288", "Observations": "ACTUALIZACION DE FECHA DE MOV.", "ImageUrl": "http://www.placaapi.mx/image.aspx/@R0VORVJBTCBNT1RPUlMgREUgTUVYSUNPIFNERSBSIENBTUFSTyBaIDIgUFVFUlRBUyA4IENJTCA1IFBBUw==" }</vehicleJson> <vehicleData> <Description>GENERAL MOTORS DE MEXICO SDE R CAMARO Z 2 PUERTAS 8 CIL 5 PAS</Description> <RegistrationYear>2024</RegistrationYear> <CarMake> <CurrentTextValue>GENERAL MOTORS DE MEXICO SDE R</CurrentTextValue> </CarMake> <CarModel>CAMARO Z 2 PUERTAS 8 CIL 5 PAS</CarModel> <EngineSize> <CurrentValue/> </EngineSize> <NumberOfDoors> <CurrentValue/> </NumberOfDoors> </vehicleData> </Vehicle> And thankfully, the VIN is included in this data. The downside is only 10 free credits so I have 9 left but it's like $0.20 per check and that's nothing if it means a closer chance of finding all 350. My request to anyone wanting to assist, if you see a Mexico ZL1 Collector Edition and it has a plate, please link it here or post the plate/PM the plate to me if possible. It would be greatly appreciated

I'm going to guess it will sell for ~$150K. The one that went through BJ went for $236K.

A Z CE coupe went for 145 last week at Mecum Glendale. I think it was an A10.

Up to today, we’re totaling 337/350
7/20 Mexico cars/numbers found. Some missing VIN’s but most have their right sequence However we do have a complete list of cars 117-350 whether that be VIN or ### based

Well, I think the road may be at its end.
The Excel file should have all 350 ZL1 VINs now if I'm correct (which I'm betting I am) Excel file (linked on first post) I'll explain my process since no new cars were being posted on social media for the missing Mexico cars. I thought to cut down on a lot of guesswork the best way would be to find the sequence of the other cars that were built off of Lansing Grand River Plant. The only other two are the Cadillac CT4 and CT5, with a few changes to the script I'm pulling the data on them (it's been almost a week and I'm almost done, why does Cadillac have so many different variations). When it's finished I'll give a visit to their respective forums to see if anyone's interested in that. I added the 2024 Camaro data to the 2024 CT4/CT5 data I pulled and the sequences line up perfectly in many cases. I used the gaps between known CE ZL1 cars as starting points and tried to find anything. Unfortunately, since the Mexico cars aren't kept in the US VIN systems, I couldn't find any way to verify if a VIN was right. Until I found the warranty check site from GM. https://experience.gm.com/ownercenter/recalls?vin= While not an API endpoint like the window stickers, I was able to test the potential cars against that. Again the information the site gives isn't much but I did see a pattern. CE #001: https://experience.gm.com/ownercente...FJ1R6XR0100021 Results in a 2024 Chevrolet Camaro A with active warranties. For example a test VIN: https://experience.gm.com/ownercente...F91R65R0103028 Results in "Currently, there are no recalls or warranties for your vehicle..." etc. So not a match there. But the match can be found here: https://experience.gm.com/ownercente...F91R68R0100043 "2024 Chevrolet Camaro A" and if you scroll down the warranties say Mexico. Thankfully it seems the missing ZL1 cars were the only ZL1s sent as I didn't find anything that didn't match the missing CE ### ranges. (Minus #112 which is potentially one of two VINs. Both Mexico ZL1's and both match in the range of 112) My minor obsession with 'find them all' is over. For now...

Thank you!
I also double checked #112 and am certain it’s sequence is 107229 as the warranty says Mexico while the other sequence (107251) says Colombia
