In my greda fan country you can't do nothing so sad here

Also my afr was alwaYS at wot 0.79-81 ~ not leaner
If you go with the newer HO cats you won't have this issue.

Well, I remember that the old ones were originally rated for 425 crank hp each, just as h018871 and Z OH 6 stated above, so it's somewhat surprising that they went bad at "only" 6xx rhwp that your car has.

Then again, I checked the cats at Kooks's website, and now they claim a rating of only 375 per cat (in red)... one wonders how accurate these "ratings" are if they simply reduced the spec seeing the failures

And I don't listen to him because in Germany, driving without cats or from another brand is like being a criminal person, and you can easily lose your car, a lot of money, and a little bit of ass bleeding.
But after one year, like now, I switched to GESI UHO cats. They're not allowed here either, but it's working on a lot of tuned cars with 1000hp here without any issues. Tell me the exhaust shop and the emissions test are not a problem.
Only the entry in the vehicle registration is such a thing...

Yeah wouldn’t you want that on, even if it’s reduced?

It turns on to not melt cats…

Probably need a huge fuel system to handle that requirement tho depending on your mods

Granted this is a street car too, I don’t race it. But I have a heavy foot.

Kooks however did confirm it’s 425hp per bank (I’m over that) and Alex at csp said to keep an eye on them.

In any case I took them off today, put off road connection pipes on and logged to send to CSP just to see if time needs to be changed.

It’s louder and stinks like gas.. but o well.

This one is the better of the 2, you can see it starting to bend/give.
Is this slight substrate bending necessarily indicative of failure? I was told this was normal to an extent, but maybe that's wrong?

Hey TEAM, So I wanted to share a recent close call I had.
After watching CSP's recent interchiller video, where he was hyping his 4.5" OD GESI Gen2 cats... I gave them a call because I could not find them on their website, and was curious if any power gains could be expected... After discussing my application, and telling them that I am still running the HF cats that came with my ARH kit... they stopped me and said WTF! You better take those ARH cats off ASAP before it's too late. Worried, I found this thread, and decided to crack open my Vbands to take a look. I was feeling good, after finding that my passenger side was perfect, then sad to see that my driver side is fu*ked :(
Note: this is only after 3,500 miles!!!

So, I am going to make some custom off road pipes with V bands... give that a try, and if its too loud, them I will order the 4.5" OD GESI's...

Stay tuned

You should have stated that in your prior post because it reads like you are implying the GESI Gen 2 4.5" cats are the culprit....which had me scratching my head. The ones that came with your AR headers I don't believe are the same. Honestly these high-end header companies need to start offering the Gesi Gen 2 4.5" for forced induction applications imo. Standard high flow cats and cars >700whp is No Bueno.
