Talking Mo powa

What can I do to make sure I can make handle a lot of power with my LT1 on my 2ss 6 gen. I plan on getting a cam, intake manifold, and long tube headers (of course with a tune) I already have a AWE track catback and a cold air intake but I wanna make sure I’ll have a stable ready engine to handle power. Any suggestions on what I’ll need?

E85 seems to be a very easy 40-50 HP gain without much effort...

Skip the Cam until you're full boltons on E85

Define “a lot of power”…? If you’re staying naturally aspirated, then the OEM long block is decent. Ditch the AFM system and get some better springs & lifters when you do the cam.

If you’re going for a LOT of power, that will generally need forced induction and a forged short block. Jump into the Forced Induction forum and read, read, read. Then be prepared to break out the checkbook…
