Order lead times

Hi,

If I order a 2023 today - how long do you think it’ll take for me to get my car?

Are 2024’s going to go up in price?

2SS 1LE Vivid orange.

Good luck getting a 2SS 1LE PERIOD... Have you found a dealer claiming they can get one? They need an allocation then Chevrolet has to accept the order. Seriously though I wish you luck. Id start looking for a clean used 2SS 1LE today.

Order lead times

How long? Many, many, many months. Will the ‘24s go up? Probably, but you would have to ask GM. Start searching the Chevy site for inventory.

Could be pretty hard, but SHOULDN'T be impossible(I hope!). My dealership has a White A10 1SS 1LE on their website as well as a Black 2SS(non 1LE) listed. So you MAY have to travel or have one shipped from another dealer if you can't get the allocation for yours through your dealer???? Good luck though!!

We'll see...

My buddy who is on this forum. Ordered his 2ss 1LE on march 10th. Its already built and waiting on shipping. All depends on the luck of the allocation.

Find a higher volume dealer, speak to several dealers see if any have an allocation or could follow up with you when they allocations on Thursday’s. I spent about a week talking to about 7-8 dealers, most had typical responses and reached out to a well known dealer Criswell Chevrolet and the guy painted the picture as attempting to order anything was bleak. I got in touch with 1 more dealer and happened to be a Thursday and the guy checked his allocations and had one open for a 2SS 1LE. Thought the guy was BS’ing me to get me to order but he was serious, order got picked up quickly and my car was just built this past week.

Yup, good advice here. Cast your net wide, minimum of 5 larger dealerships. Find which ones move the most camaros, they will get the most allocations. And watch the Chevy website for acceptable alternatives when it comes to color, transmission, etc. Decide what you're willing to be flexible about. NEVER pay over MSRP. If something does come up, I recommend jumping on it quickly. Place orders for 2024s as soon as you can, too.

You might be really really lucky if you get a MY23 2SS 1LE allocation.

It was really hard to get an incoming 2SS 1LE when compared to a ZL1 for MSRP. I spoke to around 40 dealers who had a 2SS 1LE (closer to my build) which was incoming to the dealers since Jan, everything was customer order or had a markup.

Good luck with your search.

I live on VA-NC border with many high volume dealers, thought it would be relatively easy to get a 23' 2SS 1LE. Rick Hendrick Chevrolet being one of the biggest dealers of Camaros in the country was able to order me a ZL1(non ZLE) If I wanted.
They had 1SS 1LE in transit but no 2SS 1LE. I was trying to get one last October.

Oh no! Sounds like it’ll be a hard bargain.

I think I am going to be the first in line as soon as order banks open for 2024. Will check out 5 dealerships if I have to.

Sounds like it can be anywhere from 2 to 4 months from order to delivery.
