I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel and rotate the throttle body more than it needs to be. Once you start moving it a bunch it tends to crash into things, require an extension harness, Ect. |

Well it fits!
I'm going to make some changes to the production version so that the adaptor flange is rotated and parallel to the throttle body and not the ground. We have material on order to make more but like everything else what used to come overnight now takes days or weeks to show up. The guys are looking for a piece of material to make another because of of this very second I only have the 1 piece pictured. |

Looking good Mike! Almost there! I’m happy to wait a couple more days to get the updated piece…I agree it will look better.
Also, not sure if you noticed earlier, but I was wondering if you guys can cut a gasket to seal the 112 to the adapter? I’ve used RTV in the past and it totally sucks to get apart when you need to pop the TB off…! Thanks!

You can cut a paper gasket if you wanted otherwise it would be RTV like usual. |

Seems like Whipple just doesn't think things out for the customer. Maybe I'm wrong and I'm not saying Magnuson is perfect but just always seemed like there were less issues after release of the 2650. Just sayin that you should be able to put the blower on without any issues, Ebrock kinda did the same thing, the blower was just rushed to the market to soon. So, don't be hating on me, just my opinion.

What I have learned over years dealing with Whipple on many boat applications is that:
1. Their Customer Service is non-existent- even the dealers have to email their reps to buy products rather than talk to their reps over the phone. (with CC on file) And if you are a Consumer....good luck ![]() 2. They rush their Products to Production to peddle their goods 3. They rely on their name to sell since the late '80s, so consumers line up and buy 4. Whipple caters to the drag racing community (where it all started back in the day) Overall, it is a nice product don't get me wrong, they just need to invest more internally, but unfortunately things haven't changed in many years....

I've had NO issues with my EForce 2650 [other than the lid touched the hood which I knew about in advance]

I think Greg might be talking about the less-than-airflow without porting.

Absolutely not, I think they brought the original 2650 to market to quickly and expected to have the customer or the dealers figure things out. They can make plenty of power on most applications and that's been proven. So, me no hater but Magnuson is always late to the party for a good reason. They try to make sure issues are lined out before they bring them to market. Mine are not the fastest, the best or anything close to that. I'm sure not bashing them just making what I consider a valid point. I didn't have the fastest 2650 and I don't have the fastest 2300, but everything fits as its supposed to with no surprises and that's how it should be. If you can find a post where I actually bashed Ebrock and not just made a comment, you let me know, I bashed Jack plenty for his antics on this forum, I've never bashed you for running an Eforce and I don't work for Magnuson anymore, yes I'm still running a 2300 but I really don't have a dog in this hunt anymore.

Thanks Greg!
![]() Coolant system is vacuumed out and refilled. The custom aluminum extension piece for the Smoothboost actuator arm is completed and that’s all set. The ice tank supply water line was rerun down the passenger side of the car. My brother tossed out the Whipple supplied IC hoses and made up new ones to clean it up and work with the ice tank hose supply and return locations. The IC pump bracket was welded up to accept the new Pierburg pump and the hoses reconfigured (they didn’t line up with the LT4 pump at all). Mounted up all the pulleys today and going to measure up for a new belt today too. I think the TB adapter plate and belt are all that’s holding us up now.

Agreed. The Eddie 2650 is the only blower that NEEDS porting to get close to its max potential.
