I like them when you see it right away and it's an easy thing to handle.

You are kind of far from Andrew, aren't you? Are you working remotely with him? I am lucky, I am a 20 minute drive from him.

Yeah he's remote tuning. I WISH I had a performance shop here in Columbus that was like CSP, RPM, LMP, LMR, Jannetty Racing etc... I do have Weapon-X close about an hour and a half away in Cincinnati.

Another update, but not the one I was hoping to give! As mentioned above, I installed the new AFR O2 sensor that looked to have a wire short and hooked up the new gauge. I didn’t reinstall everything into the A-Pillar in case there was still an issue etc. So, I put the car into accessory mode and the new gauge cycled properly this time, so I figured yay all good! The previously gauge/AFR O2 sensor obviously had an issue as it would cycle but jump around, go to all dashes and even randomly power off and back on. After seeing it cycle properly, I reinstalled everything back into the A-Pillar and figured great, I can move forward from here! Well, even though it's cold this morning, it’s clear and no rain forecasted. So, I decided to drive the car this morning to my client and data log. Well... I'll be an S.O.B... if the car didn’t do the same crap that it did on Sunday with the AEM AFR connected to the OBD2 port. All kinds of warning messages, gauges jumping around randomly and then pegged on zero, ESC, Rear Axle System Off, Service, Check Engine, etc. etc. So, the only thing I that’s wrong. Is I accidently mixed up the previous gauge and the new gauge and reinstalled the old one by accident. So, again tonight, will swap the actual gauges and see what happens. I was able to get the exhaust leak at the long tube header ball flange and the high flow CATs ball flange fixed. But seriously, what a punch in the gut. It’s like I’m right at the finish line, but just can't get across it !

When I had my ZL1, out of the blue the gauges and warnings starting acting similar while on the hwy while doing some high speed pulls (in Mexico of course). Turned out to be frayed wires under/around/near engine, obviously a short of some sort. Dealer repaired under warranty. I know you are modded but with it running ok for a few hundo miles, maybe something similar is happening now. Good luck!
Ps. You got some big balls modding with such low miles. |

Update! Well I guess I did re-install the original AFR gauge that I think was glitched due to the short of the bare wires. When I got home this evening, I popped off the A-Pillar and took out the AFR gauge and hooked up the other one in it's place. I cleared the engine codes then started up the ZL1 and PRESTO !!!! All is good. I still have a slight exhaust tick sound right at the drivers side long tube header ball flange and the high flow CAT ball flange. I picked up some 10.9 M10 1.5 bolts today and will attempt to tighten the crap out of it tomorrow and see if I can get the leak sealed up.
