Not Another Oil Thread - Just a Generic question
Hey Fellow ZL1 owners -
2023 zl1 - getting ready for first (500 mile) oil change. Car will not be tracked. Planning on following GM guidelines 0w40 Dexos2. Couple questions: Per GM list there are 4 approved 0w40 dexos 2 oils - (3 are Mobil1 Brand - which is the brand I plan to go with). Of those 3 - does it make any difference which one I use? Any suggestion on best place to purchase from? Thanks |

Amsoil 10W-30 Signature Series is proven superior to Mobil1 in countless standardized tests...but hey, that doesn't matter, Dexos2 matters

Run what the manufacturer specifies and you will be okay is my advice.
