Is it 43% over an LT1 or LT4 lobe.

I’m assuming LT1 since the LPE Big Bore HPFP is the only high side pump capable of running the +42% & +43% fuel pump lobes and the LPE BB HPFP is made from new, over-bored, LT1 fuel pumps, not LT4s.
The LT4 is capped at +38% I believe.

If based on the LT1 5.70 mm lobe lift 32% 7.524 mm 38% 7.866 mm 42% 8.094 mm 43% 8.151 mm There is a limit to how much you can stroke the HPFP and still see gains. Also the higher stroke means less pump life and possible pressure control issues, so we have to be careful. For now I choose to stick to 32% for good gains with ultimate in reliability. At least until we see good solid reliable data that the 38% is worth the risk. Ted.

The 42-43% lobe is designed for the gen 2 LPE big bore pump which is based off a LT1 pump design. A 32% lobe limits the LPE pumps capability. I believe the LT1 pump can be stroked further then a LT4 hence why I also believe LPE designed the LPE big bore pump off the LT1. There shouldn't be any pressure issues if the tuning is correct for the fuel pump lobe.

I'm running a 38% on a lt4 pump and it's spaced correctly with shims per lpe instructions and Matt's mechanic measuring.

Keep in mind not everyone is as mechanically inclined as you are, most of my customers don't want to do there own oil changes. Ted.

I wish I could I wish I could supply some proof that its worth the risk and it that it added x amount of power. I just asked matt to look at the high side pressures from 2019 vs an hour ago to see if the pumps had any deterioration (cars at matts now) he says the fuel pressure is still the same no declines.

Nothing has changed over time in duration on the suction side or pressure side the solenoid is not having to open or close any different with timing to make up for failing pump all seems as it was in 2019. I could be having success because my shop measured vs slapping the pump on the lobe and calling it good. I do, do a lot stuff myself in my garage as you say lol When I work on my car its at work I would say other than a dyno, hp tuner stuff, a real scanner I'm equipped as well as you if not better since I also service diesel equipment with more sophisticated emissions stuff then these gas engines.

Finally got the car tuned and dialed. 865 whp and 743 lb ft on e70 and the car pulls like a train. Super happy with how the car turned out. Now the aim is 170+ MPH on the 1/2 mile which i do believe is possible.

Lpe cams are under rated I think I made more than most with my 2650 and your numbers sound pretty good.
