Auto or Manual?
Touring or Sports Mode? Spirted Driver? Elevation? Do you deal with alot of Stop and Go traffic? |

What you're doing wrong is expecting a Camaro to be an economy car... the Camaro is a heavy car in all trims...

City and stop and go driving kills it for gas. My 2021 LT1 A10 got around 9mpg with my driving 4 miles to work and back in heavy stop and go. Even all my C6's get around 14.5 in the city. Plus i am always on the hammer so tat don't help.

I get about 18 to 20 mpg in my 6.2 6spd.
If I get less it means I had even more fun on empty roads Who buys a Camaro for mpg :( |

At the strip I use 1/4 tank of gas minimum in 4-6 runs while on E85
On street on E85: I get 16-18mpg according to in car gauge which I figure is about 12-13 mpg actual in touring On street on 93: I get closer to 23mpg average actual I drive 350 miles/week for work, in a mix of highway and city with a mix of mild to heavy traffic Before my mods I got about the same. I would figure the V6's would do better. So as others have said, probably heavy foot heavy traffic most of the time for you. Another thing I notice about in car gauges. You can't rely on that for accuracy. Even sitting still drops your mpg, or not driving the car for a while on the same tank of gas. ( In other words, if you go 2-4 weeks on the same tank of gas, your mpg gauge in car will be way down - aka short distance drives)
