I think you'll be fine... I have a hillside home in LA canyon with fairly steep curved ramped driveway similar to ohsmily above, so steep it can cause wheels to spin a little sometimes at certain angles and inputs--twist in surface caused by curve contributes.

I also have a ZLE and lowered the front DSSVs all the way down, and I still have ZERO scraping going up or down. We had the driveway redone and shaped for best traction when we bought this old house, so that helps. The key part, obviously, is the shape and angle of first few feet and yours is not "humped" up or convex, so it looks good to me.

Here is my driveway. I come in real slow at a 45 just to get over the drive curb. The next angle comes after the sidewalk onto the drive. Going slow I do as mentioned rub the rubber dam underneath.

Problem I see is getting out onto that road or getting in slowly. Maybe traffic isn't bad , but it sucks trying to do everything quickly. I got over my fears of scraping when I saw how cheap it was to replace. Will just scratch and replace it once I'm ready to sell

My driveway is way worse. I bought some rubber curb ramps to put out for the summer or I would scrape.

Thanks to everyone for all of the helpful comments. My dealership just called and told me that the car is on a train somewhere in western PA. ETA is now July 10th. I'll let you all know if it scraped or not once I get the car home.

For extra protection, get a pack of this and save the bottom of your splitter relatively cheaply: https://www.amazon.com/stores/SLIPLO...3-33FA8BF186B3
I just ordered the Sliplo. They were on sale today on Amazon. If the car ever gets delivered I'll install them.

That's good to know. I thought it would be more expensive!

Yours should be ok. My drive way is alittle steeper than yours and if I go up at an angle and down at an angle, it does not hit.

I brought the new ZL1 home tonight and it did NOT scrape the driveway. I'm not sure how close it was, but I'm sure I'll figure that out in the days to come.

Driveway Clearance

I had that issue with my driveway. The crown of the street drops the front end down as you go into the gutter and then the driveway. I tried everything, including Sliplo, boards etc. The boards did work but a real pain to line up the wheels, especially when backing out. I put Weld racing wheels on the car and the tires, M/T drag radials in back and M/T competition tires in the front. I The tires are about an inch taller than stock and that finally gave me the clearance I needed.

Sarge, is your driveway wide and/or long enough so you can angle it so you enter/exit driveway one tire at a time at a super-tangential instead of orthogonal angle? (Maybe default to entering and exiting E V E R Y parking lot that way - until you are sure of no-scrapey-happen and no splitter-ectomy resulting.

Prepare to drive s l o w e r in the city than you can with a 'normal' car. So many potholes, raised features, etc. It's soooo worth it to deal with city street issues if you are going to be driving the Big Road, or tracking the car, of course. Enjoy!

sincerely yours,

Also, if all else fails, there is this bridge ramp thing you may want to try for your driveway road connection, Sergeant: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07LF6QSBW

my driveway is terrible and if you take it on an angle it works just fine. It scrapes the catalytic converter shield a little at the top peak. a little black plastic under spoiler part takes a slight beating. I'll get a picture...
