Thanks for posting this topic, I was looking at Track Armour and Track Tape as I'm considering registering for a HPDE. Both seem to have majority positive reviews, but the bad reviews are really bad. I ceramic coated my car, I saw several recommendations to apply a coat of wax before the tape. I look forward to more people posting their feedback. |

I'd did PPF when the car was new. Glad I did for street and track use. I've used track armor in places for extra protection

I have full ppf and ceramic on the car. It’s still going to take a beating on the track. Your biggest issue is going to be the cheap windshield glass getting pitted.

I use track armour on my doors/rockers/partially on the rear fenders. I've never had any issues. I put it on the day before I go to the track and take it off when I get back. If there is any residue left you can just remove it with some tar remover stuff, easy.

Funny enough, for me the issue with TrackArmour was that it peeled off a bit on my 1800-mile drive back home from the dealer, and as dirt stuck to the piece it ended up slightly scratching the paint as it was flapping a lot with the wind
![]() I realize it may totally have been due to user error but my point is more that, if anything, I had issues with it remaining on the car, I didn’t have any issue with glue residue once I took it off.Edit: Oh, and in my case I don’t believe temperatures ever went above 60 if I remember well. But if you’ll be racing in 100-degree weather, then maybe glue residue might be an issue… but I’m just guessing here. ![]() Geoff |

I used STEK Dynoglex for the windscreen. There is always some distortion but it’s not very noticeable on a Gen 6 Camaro. The other car, with more glass curvature, has more noticeable distortion. It’s worth the compromise. Cost always $600 installed for Camaro (shop 1) and $500 installed for the other car (shop2).

Been debating a windshield covering for the Blackwing. This one is supposed to be pretty good with no distortion. Anyone used it? https://www.getexoshield.com/
