On the other hand, once the supercharger kicks in, the sound of the engine is what will be enjoyed exclusively, which is exactly the way things should be IMO. With the windows down the car is rolling thunder at WOT, while it's a still a purry mildly cammed kitten when driven normally. I think you'll have a similar experience even without a blower/cam. At the end of the day, I don't regret going with headers.

Headers with hi-flow cats and OEM catback would not be loud. I drove it for over a year.
Your OEM pump will handle the build you've described here. Quote:

Good stuff JSH. I’ve also seen where headers + stock exhaust has a good balance of loud plus the benefit of the NPP. As I mentioned, I already have the AWE Touring Catback + resonators + PLP’s (no secondary cats). Needless to say, it’s pretty loud with this setup. I’m nervous that adding headers will make it unbearable. I know, it’s all a preference thing. As well, I was shocked to hear that they said in order to run the Kong X port, it would require a cam due to fueling requirements. I’ve not heard that at all anywhere else. They said the same about E85 (needs a different cam + fuel pumps). If I was to run full E85, yes. But not upwards to E60. Maybe I’m missing something!?

SP750 Parts List: Yes - ARH Longtube Headers, no - X-Pipe yes - Roto Fab Big Gulp Intake No - ATI Dampener 10% lower - ATI Supercharger Overdrive Pulley No - Brisk Racing Spark Plugs Yes - Gates HD Supercharger Belt No - Taylor Spark Plug Wires No - DEI Wire Boots Yes - 160 Thermostat Yes - Billet Thermostat Housing Yes - Oil Change Depends - Custom Dyno Tune Yes - KongX - If you run 91/93, you would not HAVE TO have a new cam, but you would NOT get the most out of your build. I think I see 100 rwhp (675 corrected) with KongX and the "yesses", which would need a tune. BTW, his advertised 750 is bhp or 637 wheel.

Ted's package is 100% bolt on plus tune. I'd talk to him about remote tuning. He has tuned my car remotely for years. Anyone, yourself included, if you're fairly mechanically inclined, can install the headers, flex fuel sensor, etc.

Headers are not that loud at all even catless if you do dual resonators before the stock NPP muffler. My brother has this setup on his ZL1 and it's actually quieter then my stock Header, no cats, Borla 60608 resonated X, Corsa NPP setup.

from everything i've learned they are right on point. They are in the safe limits of your stock fuel system on 93 octane. You could get a DSX boost pump and do a little E85 mix but why at that point. E85 mix is just a hassle. You could do a little blower work and not run as much boost also but why. I believe they gave you good advise about running out of fuel. You can always add to the build later.

Why is mixing e85 a hassle? Just keep some E85 in the garage and fill when needed. Takes me a few extra minutes to mix and fill my tank. I'm either on target or within 1-2 points. At the station I just use my calc and it literally takes as long as swiping your card again and putting the hose in.... Plus the fact that i can make +45 hp more on E35-40. If you can run it and have access to ethanol there's no argument not to run it. I paid $4.20/gal of E85 last night, compared to $6.29 for 93.

At his power level, we should ask about the percentage of time spent at WOT, too
My fuel economy is 20-25% worse when using E50.
