Anyone have the service manual pages for installing new pads and rotors for a 19 ZL1?
Just curious if anyone has the official service manual pages for installing new pads and rotors on a 19 ZL1. Buddy is swapping over to the powerstop ceramic pads on the stock rotors (11k miles on the car) to cut the dust down.

The only thing that is "manual worthy" are the torque specs: 140 ft-lbs on the lug nuts, and 24 ft-lbs on the front caliper center guide-pin bolt as per this thread:
https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=516448 There are plenty of youtube how-to vids; Brembos are much easier than regular Chevy brakes. Very easy to DIY. Takes longer to jack up the car and remove/remount the wheels than swap the pads. Use a 1/8" punch to remove the guide pins (they are just pressed in). If your rear pads don't come with shim plates, transfer the shims from the OEM pads (or they'll squeak). Clean the rotors well and then bed the pads properly when done. https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showp...22&postcount=5 Also doesn't hurt to clean the wheel hub mating surfaces well (to avoid clicking) and ceramic + durable hydrophobic coat the wheels while they're off the car. This will take far longer than the pad swap, but it's worth the effort if you want your wheels to be easy to clean for years to come.

What are the best aftermarket pads to reduce brake dust while still maintaining decent stop power?
