I just spoke to the tuner and he was telling me i have plenty of fueling avail still. He was able to maintain 80psi on the low side on WOT. The prev tuner had it falling off during WOT and i was at 6.2inj pulse width and now im at 5.0 inj pulse width.
Sounds good.
What are you using for the low side? DSX aux pump?

I'm using the dsx aux pump along with the Lingenfelter High flow check valve.

If the injector pulse is at 5.0 then I am sure it will handle E40. That being said I would be curious to know what he did to get the injector pulse width that low? One way is lean the afr out and going from 11.8-12.0 to 13 afr would do it.

I would verify with your wideband what AFR you are seeing because it sounds like tuner leaned it out to drop the IPW's.

I doubt hes at 5.0 (not at the right AFR). I am at 5.5 and we have pretty much the same build and pullies making the same power and im right around 12 AFR.

He seems to be running lean though from what hes posted, and if really at 13 afr I've never seen anyone tune that lean.

That's what I am saying...I have seen some run ZL1's lean like that before. Only way he would have that low of IPW.

I know with race gas you can run much leaner which will extend the fuel system out much further but pump gas I prefer 11.7-12.0 and 12.0-12.4 max on E. Jmo ymmv...

Hopefully I will be able to answer some of your questions when I get the flex fuel done. He said he is going to be out if town and for me to check back in the middle of the month. I will definitely update you guys what happens with it. Wonder if he got more out of it cause of the Boostane? I had somewhere between 8 and 16oz in it before heading to his shop 45mins away.
