I just installed a set of 2in, my Dad installed a set on his 2016 Vet. We both love it. No issues with the headers, but both of us did go with the entire kit. I also upgraded my clamps as the ones that came with the kit were not the greatest. All in all it's been about 4 months and I just love the sound. Did E85 Cold air and Tune all at the same time. Car is as it should have been from the factory, loud and quick. But the install was a bitch, as I suspect all headers are.

I am sure you can make just the headers work with some fab... but for no more then the X pipe kit cost, I would get the entire setup since the x pipe will slide right in the axle back without cutting.

I agree with King too. Getting The whole system really makes install painless. I bought a different brand that connected to stock muffler and install was not bad at all. I’ll add that I did also buy the BMR mounts (MM010) to have some extra clearance sliding the 2” headers in place.

if i did it again i would buy just the headers and universal x (flowmaster/magnaflow) and have someone put everything together. the x pipe is junk, not even close to fitting right and the axle end of the kit also had to be modified to work properly. once i find someone willing to mess with it, i will have the exhaust redone from the headers to the axle.

Exhaust can be a gamble... there always seems to be somebody that gets a exhaust setup that doesn't fit right even if several others had no issues. It doesn't take much to throw off fitment if the pipes are welded or bent incorrectly by the slightest amount. I have seen it happen with Kooks. When they came out with the 4th gen true dual exhaust systems, myself along with others purchased Kooks TD's and they fit really well. A few others had a lot of fitment issues with them. From what I have read the SE stuff seems to have more positive reviews then negative with fitment. Same with TSP headers...about 1 out of 10 has fitment issues with them.
