Indeed, it literally takes less than 5 minutes to place an order and print out your workbench order as shown by Bundiman in this thread. Dealer literally asked me what trim, ext. color, int. color, transmission choice, wheel option and other any options I wanted then he hit submit, then hit a print button, and it was done just that quick. If a dealer has not handed you a workbench order with an order number, I'd certainly be questioning the status.

Just spoke with my dealer. We found that the Performance Air Intake is what was delaying me getting a TPW. They show they are in “Long Term Hold” so if you are delayed you may have some LPO(dealer installed options) parts that if GM does not have them in stock they will not start build. I told my dealer to remove the CAI and I’ll order and install after delivery. Hopefully this gets my order picked up now and a TPW.

Thanks for the heads up! I don’t think my order has it though since the 1LE comes with the stock air box unless specified. My order stuck at 1100 due to Rapid Blue color constraint. Once this is lifted my order should be moving forward “fingers crossed”

Hmm that’s strange. My dealer told me that about the color constraint and in another forum another member stated there is a start up restriction for the new colors. Wild Cherry been on the list for a while so that color shouldn’t cause any problems.

Well today I got some news I guess? I asked my salesperson if I could edit my order and they went to edit it and said my car is at 0500 which means order configuration accepted? Haven’t heard of this before… hope that it means there is some forward progress and also that they can still edit my order! Lol.

There are no rapid blue or vivid orange coupe orders being accepted this week. (Or ZL1s for that matter).

I placed an order for a 2SS Rapid Blue Convertible with Ceramic White yesterday. Dealer said they had allotment. Guess we'll see what happens.

So... I have never heard of 0500 code. Here is the list of event codes provided by a sponsor on this website. 1100 is the status that you get from your workbench order when you place an order with a dealer with no allocation. That was the case with my first 2022 order. Once I called around and found a dealer with allocation, as soon as he entered my order, it went to 2000. Has your dealer printed out your workbench order and given you an order number? As I responded to a previous post on this thread, it literally takes less than 5 minutes for a dealer to submit your order and print your workbench order. If you don't have that information, I'd certainly be questioning the validity of your order. Good luck to you...

I have heard of this status code before. I just went thru this issue with my salesman. Apparently, I had a noob trying to place my order and I was his first one. I went back and forth for 2 weeks on this. What happen in my situation is that he possibly reading the wrong screen or something because he originally gave me a work order bench with "Stored Configuration Details" on the top of it with a order # ZTSNSK which is wrong because I even validated with Chevrolet.com and they told me this below (image) After going back and forth and he figured I was right, he gave the me right Order number which was ZTSNSD which shows the right GM workbench which I have seen posted on here several times. Beforehand he was telling me 0500 and then it was just moved to 0551 and I was like that's not right. He kept telling me my car will be built 6-8 weeks and this the starting process. Kudos to these forums for the knowledge to get us all prepare otherwise, I would be pissed.

So my order hasn’t even been submitted. They took $500 from me in May and still haven’t even submitted the thing. What a joke of a dealership. I need to start looking into my other options.

I wouldn’t considered it wasted, I would ask them for the correct order number and ask for the GM work order bench. If your salesman don’t know you can ask for sales manager before losing your spot. You can try James Martín Chevrolet ask for Joe which most people go to from the forums to order their camaro. Idk about a car being sold under msrp but he can answer all your questions.
