Email For Options Information?
I've been heavily looking at ZL1s for the past month as my current '14 Audi S7 is at 90k and now that my kid is fixing to be facing forwards I can get back into a 2dr....more specifically back in a GM car. Audi is a great sedan to haul a kid in, but they're a pain to work on when (not if) needed. Overly complex IMO.
I know ZL1s don't really have very many options and it doesn't make or break what I end up in, other than the color, but the main one I wouldn't mind having is the exposed carbon on the hood. I can request that information from dealerships and such, but then the spam calls come in so hoping to circumvent that. Within my digging, I came across a thread that had an email address @(I think) GM where I could email the VIN and find out the specifics. For the life of me I can't locate it, anyone happen to know it? Or maybe some online database where I could plug the VIN in and find out?

I know it's not the best time to buy, but Audi is starting to show it's sign of age with some issues so it's time to unload it in case anything major happens.
I've owned a '00 T/A Firehawk, '00 T/A WS6, '04 C5, '05 GTO, '08 TBSS, '93 Formula....but never a Camaro. Always liked the Gen6 and with the ZL1, have a sneaky suspicion it'll become my favorite very quickly.

You can get a lot of info on what the option content is there. I have done this for many different models over the past 18 months and I have never gotten any kind of email from a dealership regarding the build on line. |

If you find one at a GM dealership they can provide you with the info as well. I requested it on both my Camaros.

Also a lot of it can easily be discerned from decent photos - carbon trim, sunroof, Nav, PDR red seat belts are the key ones. The remaining are harder to discover but arguably less irrelevant- wheels locks, mats, battery charger....

Honestly the main option I'd prefer to find is the exposed carbon on the hood, any other main ones would be a bonus for me. I know it's not an expensive option, but I'd be a little more flexible on the final price if it did.
The resolution of the photos just isn't quite good enough, it's hard to tell if that part is black or actually dark gray so know likely carbon. I appreciate the help, can't wait to get in the driver's seat. I think this is the first vehicle since the Firehawk I'm actually open to other colors besides white or gray.
