Yeah the Contis are a little cheaper but most reviews have the Michelins performing a little better and lasting longer, from the tire rack review data and reading through the reviews this seems to be the case, on average... I have read some reviews of heavier cars wearing out the Contis pretty quickly. Considering they'll only see street use they will probably last me 3 years so I'll spend the extra couple hundred on the PS4S.

I race mt bikes (Enduro Downhill) and currently have both Michelin and Conti... Michelin is better there too, I'd say they are making the best mt bike tires on the market right now.

19s are lighter and less expensive, a little shorter so gearing is effectively lower and as mentioned the square setup w/ front spacer allows rotation.

I went 18s for autox, mostly because I can run 315/30/18 square. It's a common size, lighter, smaller, lower gearing and more fender clearance. Will be used exclusively in track mode with all nannies off so I don't care about how it'll work w/ PTM modes.

I went 19s for street, I'm partial to Michelin and last I looked the 305/20s were nearly $500 each, 19s are much less. Also, I'm thinking I can squeeze 325/19 and 305/19 PS4S in there, which should be entertaining, and Apex had a good deal on wheels. Close enough to OEM for it to work well with the electronics, imo.

I like the idea of using the OEM 20s and SC3s for track, it's what the car's stability systems were designed around and the SC3s are cheap with tire rack's deals or USAA 25% discount. ZLE size and SC3R are better, but more $ than I care to spend on tires. OEM 20's are a bit much on the street in many ways... grip depends on tire temp to a massive degree, so it's much more inconsistent vs PS4S, hydroplanes too easy, wears too fast. But when warm these tires are amazing, performance is better than PS4S for sure.

I just put the new tires and rims on, and there’s no question in my mind now, stick with the ZL1 sizes 285/30 and 305 30’s on 10 and 11” width with the suggested offset. Thanks MRR! The rake is perfect, they fit right with no rubbing and they do not stick out.

Absolutely. Better to stick with this setup. I did. No issues. And I have MRC
