ZL1 with 1LE Rims

ZL1 rims are just too busy IMO... prefer the 1LE simpler design... changed the colour while I was at it too...

Got a Storm Trooper vibe going on now... totally inadvertent honestly...

Thoughts?

I think Chevy did a good job with the SS 1LE wheel. I have had a couple inquires from people wishing to switch to them over the stock ZL1 wheel.

Eh, to each their own. I love the factory ZL1 and ZL1 1LE wheels; GM did a great job with them. That said, the SS 1LE wheel is very good looking as well.

I would have gone with Black or left the 1LE Gray on them but it's definitely a cool looking ride. Fitment is perfect in the rear.

I like the ZL1 wheels for the ZL1. To me, the SS 1LE wheels, while also forged aluminum and the same size as the ZL1 wheel, looks like a down grade since they come from a lower trim. They do look really good on the SS 1LE, though (in the factory color).

And how the heck will you keep white wheels from looking terribly dirty after one or two short drives? The brake dust even starts to show up on the factory ZL1 wheels after a few drives.

That said, I respect your decision to be bold w/ the white wheels, even if they are not my style!

Black or gray is "lost" on the lower half of the car in my view... I've had white car/white wheels before.. So I know how they pop...

Point taken on the brake dust, but I ceramic coated the wheels and a blast with the pressure washer cleans them up in between washes...

As others have said, to each their own. I think the ZL1 rims looks sweet...you want to see bad rims, checkout the base factory rims on the C8 Corvette. Even the upgraded “Trident” rims are not as cool as the ZL1 rims.

I get that you like white, but they are a bit too Miami Vice for me.

When I bought my car I wanted a set of rims/tires for street duty. It was between what I have (2015 Z28) and the 6th Gen SS 1LE rims. I love the 1LE rims. I think your car looks great with them. I’m not a white rim fan either but they look great on your car in my opinion. Kinda makes me wanna get a third set of rims/tires haha

The figment looks great too.

I like the SS 1LE wheels. They fit well on the ZL1. I personally would have gone black like the same finish as the ZLE. Overall, good looking and if you are happy, that's all that matters.

I put the SS 1LEs on my car, but I truly love the ZL1 base factory wheels, they look evil as hell. Only reason I didn't put them on my car is I don't like to install higher level models by putting their stuff on a step down. Always been a whack job like that

I personally would have stayed with black but I do appreciate the 4th gen 30th anniversary vibe! I also appreciate your uniqueness as you just don't see this combo very much.
