Clutch squeak
A few months ago, I was driving with the stereo off so I could hear the SC whine, and I noticed that in stop and go traffic, I could hear a squeak coming from the clutch pedal area every time I pressed the clutch.
Not on release, only when pressing. I sprayed a little bit of while lithium grease on the pivot joints of the clutch pedal assembly under the dash. This helped for a few weeks, but the squeak came back. Anyone else notice this? Is there a better fix than applying lithium grease every other month?

Mine has gotten bad over the past month. Squeaks when pressing in and creaks when letting out. My ss did this about a year after owning it and the dealership said the clutch pedal assembly had broken. Said they hadnt really seen that before.
I plan to take my zl1 in for a warranty fix in the next week or two. |

Hi guys, I’ve got a 19 ZL1 6m with only 905km so far... I will definitely keep an eye out for this.
When did the squeak appear for you (in terms of mileage)? |

My problem is, I usually have the stereo cranked up. I have 12,723 miles now.
I don't remember hearing it before 3000 miles. But I cannot honestly tell you when it started. But, it has been squeaking since at least 5000 miles.

Squeaking Clutch
I know this thread is older, but hoping someone has more information. I have a 2015 ZL1, and my clutch squeaks at startup from standstill. I had a 2010 SS for 9 years and never had this with the clutch. Looking for some clues?
