2021 2SS Camaro Reverse light and license plate bulb sizes

Hey guys! I just bought a 2021 2SS and I want to switch out license plate and reverse halogen to LED. Any help would be appreciated!

License plate bulbs are 194. I have the Sylvania LEDs on mine.

Reverse bulbs are 7440. I used the VLEDs bulbs.

The license plate bulbs are plug and play, but the reverse bulbs need some modifications to work properly, or you will have a dim reverse light at all times and your reverse camera won't shut off.

I have personally swapped both on my 19 ZL1, I purchased the resistor harness by Gen 5 DIY for the 19+ reverse bulb swap. While it states on their website the bumper needs to be removed for this I found that to be false. If you are able to fit under the rear of the car you should be able to reach up from behind the diffuser into the bumper cavity and access the plug to the tail light assembly. It is absolutely a tight squeeze and almost impossible to see, making this a feel the way type of install. Once you unlatch the red safety clip its just depress the tab and unplug the harness. The install is simple as just placing the Gen 5 DIY harness right inline of the OEM setup. I would recommend placing zip ties to secure the slack if you go this route as there is a lot of wiring allowed to bounce around if not. The resistor on the bulb is a very simple solution and another great option that by all means cost less and is easier. I only choose the harness as I liked the idea of nothing sitting in the socket personally.
