2020-2021 Sound Tube?
Curious if anybody else with the new refresh has the sound tube on their car? I have a 2021 1SS and mine had it but nobody else with a 20-21 that I have spoke with had it. Just seems odd

I test drove a 2020 SS 1LE recently and it had the sound tube.

My guess is this: It was probably the intention to remove the sound tube for the "LT1" model only to keep costs down (ie. keep the sound tube for the SS & SS 1LE). Maybe this caused confusion at the plant and they ended up not installing it on the SS as well? Pure speculation on my part.
Another possibility is a parts supply issue at some point where the plant had a deviation to allow cars to be built without the sound tube.

2021 LT1, NO SOUND TUBE....THANK YOU GM. I would have removed it and plugged the intake elbow and the Firewall. Did just that on my 2016 V6 manual car.

Sound tube just adds unnecessary components under the hood. I'm with lt4camaro, taking it off my 2018. It looks a lot cleaner under the hood without it.

Where can I find this sound tube? I assume its function is to pipe engine sound into the passenger compartment?
