Dealership called to tell me they are still waiting for the headliner. I’m one of the 7.
Kinda sad I just bought a house and wanted to put her in the garage.

U keep posting this, does the dealer already have the car torn apart without parts in stock(unusual side of things) or is it just sitting there?

IF it's sitting there get your car back, get a pack of the headliner tack things shove them in and enjoy it and take it back when headliner comes in.

If they are keeping it, they better be making payments for you while its there.

How long have you been waiting on the headliner for? Found out while the dealer had the bodyshop fix my door that they scratched a plastic piece and damaged the headliner, so it is back with them.

I have to agree. If the headliner is the only problem, I'd get my car and take it back to the stealership when the headliner comes in. I don't even let my car sit in parking lots for more than 5 minutes. You've been waiting... a little over 2 months I think? I couldn't and wouldn't do that personally. Regardless, I hope it gets fixed for you soon.

Haha they don’t want to give me my car back since the bumper to bumper expired and they had an issue where the owner took a car back out of warranty and GM refused to pay for it and claimed “he took it back so he broke it out of warranty”.

Sounds like GM if you think about it.

Grow a pair and call the zone rep. Repeat I want my car back until the parts come in or you will be making my payments and reimbursing me for the time the car is down. Shove it right up their ass. It's documented issue, it is your car, parts were ordered and the paperwork has been put in, there is zero reason they cannot give you the car back.

I’m gonna give it the ol college try. It is quite bullshit. I don’t get how it’s so hard to make a headliner that doesn’t fall apart. You’d think it wouldn’t be hard to do.

It's most likely not a a headliner issue per se, but rather the glue used to keep it on the backing or the process they use to do it is messed up.

There is ZERO reason to keep the car if the claim is filed under the warranty process.

On Monday evening, I was taking my grandson out to dinner and we saw this very nice 2015 Z/28. That 427 sure does sound great.

Man, if you're on this site, great car.

Also, the temps have finally dropped out of the 100's so we enjoyed some top down cruising.

Added blind spot monitoring system

These things come stock on many Ford performance products and should on this car:
