Roto fab whistle

I recently installed a roto fab on my ZL1 and it makes a sort of whistling noise on light throttle, is that normal or is there a leak? I’ve checked every connection and it’s very tight. Thanks for the responses, this is my first time with a CAI and a sports car.

Disregard. Thought you might be referring to the louder blower whine.

Idk how some people have it and some don’t. Mine must not be properly seated or something.

I saw another post about this a while back (over 1 year), someone already identified the fix I think

Went outside with my headlamp 8mm socket and flathead. Loosened everything, gave it a jiggle and tightened the shit outta everything. No more whistle here folks. So for future reference if it makes that annoying ass sound it’s the fitment! Little disappointed though I thought the whine would be louder. Maybe my new pulley will make it louder.

Not sure if it is the same but I had a big single blade throttle body on my 03 Cobra. It would whistle under light part throttle. Found out is was from the air crossing the blade at a certain air speed and blade angle.

That’s what I was thinking at first too. I’m sure it still has a bit of a whistle but I can’t hear it over the exhaust so I’m ok with it lol

To really hear the increased sc whine drive with a wall on drivers side and punch it, like a freeway divider. It sounds great

Such a good sound clip mmmm, thanks for sharing! I was playing with the paddles and it did seem to be louder. Can’t wait to hear it on the track! I was just under the impression that it would sound like a hellcat, not sure why
