You guys know an easy way to tell which is the correct trailer? I didn’t realize there were two kinds and I did the same thing, slashed a tire and scraped I think 2 or all 4 wheels... wife was helping me get on and we thought We were gonna just make it.. actually just barely DIDNT make it.. like 1/16” too narrow... frustrating.

Anyways, how do we get the correct trailer?

Thanks!

When I’ve used the uhaul trailer, I just bring my tool set and remove the front end plates before loading! . No wood needed.

Best Regards,
Dave

The U-Haul rental from CA to AZ was over $600.00 per trip, and I had to make a few trips. This trailer cost me a little over 3K. Made all the trips, both ways and still have the trailer for future trips.

NOT the red ones. Predominantly around here, those are gone from the rotation anyhow. If you get any of the ones that are galvanized / gray, you should be fine. There are at least three different models of those, too, with different GTWR's. I believe the one I used was a 6500lb GTWR (maybe 7k?) and the trailer itself weighed about 1000-1200 lbs. Plenty of available weight for cargo with the Camaro coming in at just under 4000 lbs.
