20 hp increase with nick Williams 103mm and borlas xpipe

My Tony Mamo V2 definitely held its own. I loved it but had to go larger for my upcoming mods.

[QUOTE=Bomicino;10835037]Nice. 491 lb/ft from cat & muffler delete, 103 and tune only? Yep, it only jumped on torque a little from the Tony Mamo dyno prior. which gives alot of credit to his V2! I definitely have more mods other than these two, this is just the increase from the prior dyno

In reality you should have run the Dyno runs back to back on the same day. There’s 3 months difference between runs, temp, density, fuel, Dyno setup etc. It possibly could yield better or lower numbers.

IMO, a SAE corrected dynojet is just fine. This ain't a race track and that is why SAE CF were created i.e. different conditions; also a dynojet is an inertial dyno so there is no "setup". Note this dyno is in STD which is a horse of course but it is a Unicorn so we don't know what the actual HP really is.

Would have been nice but unfortunately I didn't have a spare 103mm laying around at the time. Another factor was definitely the heatwave we currently had. I'm not really pressed im next up for the stage 3 setup cant wait!!! Heads/Cam......Time to get with some of the big boys

I was happy FBO, heads and cam take it to an otherworldly level. Nothing sounds as good as a large high compression V8 singing to 7350 RPM....

So you bolted a 103mm TB to your stock intake manifold? Was it ported at all? Adapter?

I work at a dyno shop. Not sure what you mean by there is "no setup" but I assume he was talking about strapping it down, which is important to consistent results. The changes in pressure applied with definitely have an affect. Many things can make a difference, and while the correction factor tries to even things out, it isn't the end all be all and doesn't always accurately account for things like timing pull due to conditions. Spent a lot of time on our dyno with my c63 and have witnessed a 23 HP loss between making runs in early March and late May, same mods. There are a lot more variables than people think and even little things like spraying belt dressing on the tires before a run can make a big difference in the results .

Imo a dyno is really good for a tuning session but comparing runs from different days or months isn't really that beneficial. Just too many variables.
