This is probobly not the correct forum for this question, but there are alot of smart people here.

I need to ensure the flow of current on a wiring setup is only in one direction without a huge drop in voltage. I'll be running components pulling approx 1 amp. I've heard diodes will do this, but I have no experience with this stuff and need to know exactly what to buy.

The other question I have, is there perhaps a 12v relay available that can accept 2 triggers, either simultaneously or one at a time to energize the output.
