You are correct. The SS shares the same cooling as the SS 1LE.

Engine oil, engine coolant, transmission and rear differential

I should have been a little more specific, they may have the same cooling capacities as indicated. But what I should have said was that the oil capacities are different, 5qts in the SS, and 10qts in the !LE. At least I think I read that while researching the 1LE

Its the same engine so I doubt the oil capacities would be different.

Right again. The cooling and engine in the SS and SS 1LE are identical.

The 1LE goes next level with eLSD diff, 285/305 Supercar3 tires, 6-piston front brakes, FE4 Magride suspension and NPP exhaust.

SS can be optioned with Magride, 6-piston front brakes and NPP exhaust.

Yes, 2SSCapt. I saw the photo you had showing your supplies for an oil change. You had 10 qts of oil and 2 of something else. Does that mean the pan holds 10 qts or is there an oil reservoir located somewhere. I've got an LS2 in my C6, holds 5 qts.

I think, if I remember correctly, the other 2 quarts in that picture were diff fluid. Correct me if I'm wrong 2SSCapt.

The oil reservoir on the Gen 6 Camaro LT1 motor in the SS holds approx 10 qts of oil... The other 2 bottles in the picture were differential fluid, which draining the 2SS differential requires about 1.2 qts of fluid to replace...
