Lt4 lid bolts
So I'm sorry for posting this but I have tried to find it and no luck. So I remember reading about a plate that the lt4 lid has to dampen the whine. I would like to know if it's just a matter of taking the plate off and thats it?
Also I know the bolts for the S/C are torque to yield and have to be replaced after removing them, but do the lid bolts also have to? |

I re-used the bolts for the lid when I removed that plate, no issues here.

Yes back to 89 in lbs and yes a slight difference in sound for the better. You'll notice when you remove the plate it holds a good bit of oil, so that has to be good for something also. If you don't have a catch can, get one.

You can reuse the lid bolts. You are not supposed to reuse the SC bolts.

So I took the plate and the rubber gasket. I definitely notice a difference is sound. I did have a little bit of oil collected on the S/C but not as much as I thought it would be, I have 4400 miles.

I also took off the plate from my supercharger when I installed the Elite catch can. Definitely makes a difference in sound.
Elite catch can is a high quality piece.

Yea really want to install the elite catch can but I really dont want to loosing S/C to get catch can on. When I'm thinking I will be sending S/C to Kong or Jokerz. What's holding me back is the tune, not sure if I'm ready to void warranty.
