Hey Black,
Sounds great and looks just as good. I've got 2" american racing headers, no cats and the Stock NPP. Sounds decent under acceleration, maybe a touch raspy. The thing I LOVE is that when the valves close, crusing in 10th gear it's literally whisper quiet. How is the highway cruise volume with the borla ? |

Highway volume is pretty decent. In tour mode is perfect. Quiet when cruising and loud at wot. You definitely can hear it clearly when cruising but is not intrusive. |

Beautiful picks!! Sick sound!! Does Borla make an axle back that retains NPP valves? I can't find it...

I took the ZL-1 out for some beauty shots, since I was taking a pic of the carbon fiber tips for this post. The car is complete in terms of upgrades.
Interior: Carbon fiber/leather steering wheel, carbon dash and shift bezel, 2SS leather door cards and knee pads. Exterior: Paint corrected and fully covered in Suntech gloss PPF. Ghost side-markers, GM smoked tail lights and center brake light, smoked reflectors. Drivetrain: Katech ported throttle body, Elite Engineering catch can, and the crown jewel, the Borla cat back S exhaust. Chassis: BMR cradle lockout kit, upper control arms, upper and lower trailing arms, toe rods, cradle brace, mid-chassis brace, and custom black powdercoated strut tower brace. As soon as I post this, I'm taking it out for a rip up Sandia Mountain to the east of Albuquerque. |

I think it was around $500 if I remember correctly. I did all the install and have a local shop I know really well. Only thing not coated is the factory exhaust manifolds. I kept all the factory cats in place and coated those as well. I did it for both looks and heat. I have race deck flooring in my garage and noticed on lower vehicles the exhaust heat after parking the cars would cause the floor to expand under the car and bow/warp up a bit. Coating the exhaust helps to reduce it quite a bit.

Brother you have a beautiful car, exhaust and everything, It sounds great, even wicked if that's alright with you.
My Atak/ Or Attack as you called it sounds great also ! (Second cats removed cat back all the way to the atak mufflers with smooth black tips ) I was just agreeing with you no harm or foul. |
