Cost of Fuel Injectors

Does anyone in here dish out the $350-$500 per injector some of these companies are charging for aftermarket high flow injectors? I don’t see how they would sell at that price. Am I the only one that thinks they are priced insanely high? Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts on the subject.

I didn’t and probably won’t because it’s pricey. Not to mention that my build will not go beyond the limits of LT4 fueling. (That is as long as I don’t keep going down the rabbit hole).

What’s the goal with your build?

You can go well beyond 800whp on LT4 fueling sys + CAM/meth. LT4 injectors are fairly cheap nowadays (under $70 per). what kinda power are you looking for?

I’m looking at the LT4 route because I’m only looking at 700whp. But I’m upgrading from LT1 fuel system because I’m maxed out and I figure I might want to eventually do more and run E85, so I would love to go aftermarket so I have a little more ceiling with the fuel system but it is what it is.

Goals! That’s awesome. I didn’t go through your prior posts to know what power you were at now. You’re welcome. I’m collecting parts for a nice upgrade this year. If you don’t mind, can you keep this thread updated?

Yep, you’re at the end of the line! Good problem to have. I might have some LT4 injectors available soon, I’m probably going with XDI +30 injectors. But either way, the LT4 stuff is inexpensive, all things considered.

Well part of the reason the injectors cost so much is the process in which to make them. The holes are internal in the injector are almost 25x smaller than the holes in a port injector, and are made out of way harder materials, and have to seal at 25-50x the pressure of port injection.
