This is parts only.
you think so? I figured for parts only the 2 choices were about the same at $5k for parts.

Three things you need to do for big power in our cars:

1. Fuel

I think this is the most overlooked mod in most peoples builds. Possibly the most important too. People want to add a bunch of fluff to their builds and bitch and complain on why they aren't making the power they want.

Well aware of the needs for fuel, and with choice 1 I wouldn’t have any fuel issues to land at 700rwhp, with choice 2 I would expect to need some fuel upgrade to get the most out of the cam.

For option 2 to go with the 103Tb you have to open the snout. So at that point you might as well do the ported SC at the same time. So add about $1500 to option #2.

Of course there are sale out there and everything can be found with discounts. For instance I got my katech 103 for $615 a couple of months ago.

It sounds like your like 99% of us where cost is a concern yet you want to make big power!

For me the eforce was the budget route with room to groom. I admit out of the box putting the maggi on vs the eforce the maggi will make more power after all it's ported at the factory according to Mike on the 2 or 3rd corvette testing video. And even if it can't be seen (cnc marks) the opening in the rotor ingestion area or diverter are is clearly more open(hence ever seen a 2.9 whipple impressive). It's not the brick core fight ours is better than there's its the fact that its flowing more, more flow lower IAT's in 2 ways air isn't bottle necked to heat up and faster air movement is just cooler and dense.

Having said this the initial price for the maggi is around 6000 plus a the cost of a different TBadapter snout what ever the up charge is to accept a larger one. So about 6300.00 the eforce has been found for 5300 to 4300 depending on a 500 rebate or a 10% summit coupon.

As far as the power concerned if you port the eforce $1100.00 it will perform better than the maggi I picked up 100 rwhp from kong with the same pulley combo. The porting is something you don't even have to do now. " Your room to grow" Also since the brick is over the whole area its actually cooled 2 times. riding around with my tuner I saw pulls with IATs falling during 3rd and 4th gear passes and really fast recovery times after long idling.

So if you got the eforce for 4800 or so.. sold the stock unit 1500.00 you would have minimal invested for room to grow.

I ran a 9.17 lower, headers, and intake for 1 year did the work myself all parts and tune was $2100.00 it picked up 100 rwhp.. I then just swapped blower I made a little over the 650 but it wasn't even a compassion I went from spinning the small blower probably what 23,000 rpm to 16,000 on the new unit. The power or band was a lot stronger especially up high and never any knock or iat retard. so that one benefit to look at.

Long term goals the port injection the eforce offers will save big time. savings will be about 4k (crawford setup or Haltec over the XDI Katech setup to make the same power on 93, 93 and E or all E) Of course you can go meth and race gas like the maggi guys do get power totally fine if you want to be dependent or have the hassle.
