Pulled the trigger on a procharger stage 2

its the one with a smaller head unit and a larger intercooler. I paid for the one that comes complete and with a tune. I don't know how much i trust the tune so, ill dyno and wideband it when done. There telling me a extra 150rwhp to the wheels. I was wanting to put a bellmouth intake, or a metal screen with a clamp, or even try it with a velocity stack. I have heard of 40rwhp gains, but if I paid for a tune, wont this lean the car out??? Was also thinking about lt4 injectors, but will this mess the tune?

I always was thinking a turbo blanket, but is that safe keeping all that heat in?
So far the car is stock with a drag pack and a msrp axelback exhaust. I was going to get a msd intake manifold and headers with no cats, but since that will be a custom retune, ide figure ide see if i just like it as is, if AFR is right on the money. DONE

Do i need to get colder plus or are they included, tr6 or 7's if not included?

where can i find a short block to build in my spare time?

How long do i have before i have to replace the axles, and drive shaft, before they break. I launch hard! whats a good replacement.

Thank you

you need to change your username....

A tune may lean out the car a little, usually can tunes are rich. for sure a tune will put more timing etc in it. You will get a big chunk of power for a tune.

You need to retune if you change injectors. So you should change injectors at the same time. If you do a email tune, I used both Pray or Cunningham motorsports both are excellent. Your email tune will work pretty well. If not I'm sure the car will be drivable to the shop for a dynotune.

I waited a bit but I did change to a colder plug.

You will also need to figure on what type of MAP you are going to run, the LT1 map runs out of range at some point and you gotta get a LT4 one and this AFAIK hoses the tune.

The LT1 pump also runs out of fuel and need retune..

Nutshell you better get it tuned with what is going to make you happy for a few years or it is going to get expensive.

I would do LT4 injectors
or
LT4 injectors, LT4 pump and LT4 map

BEFORE any dyno tune.

Congrats!. I did exactly what you did and look at me now.

What started off with this is all I want to do nothing more than just a stock procharger and be done turned into a serious rabbit hole. lol. Smaller pulley, LT4 Fuel system, LT Headers, exhaust Voltage booster, E85, etc etc.

If there's one thing I could go back and do again it would be 2 things. 1. Get the P1x instead of just the p1sc since it's only a $200 difference and 2. Skip the canned tuning and proceed directly to a good tuner locally or one that can remote tune your car and With that said I personally recommend Ted Jannetty! I cant' say enough about how great he has been to work with. Makes you feel like your his only customer..

It is not a hobby, it is an addiction. LOL. At what point did you upgrade to the LT4 stuff? Did you also do the LT4 MAP at the same time?

Because I went to cam and supercharger at the same time. I never found the limit of the stock cam and LT1 fuel system.

I upgraded to the LT4 fuel system when I dropped down to the 3.7 pulley I want to say about this time last year. Yep I also have the LT4 Map sensor as well as a Baro Breakout harness too!. You aren't lying! It is an addiction for sure Lol!.

So about 600 whp on stock cam lobe you should be on LT4 stuff with Lt4 map, is that fair to say?

Depends on the dyno. Jenetty says 575whp on his dyno is where the stock fuel system limits are reached.

Yep that is why I always recommend just getting the LT4 fuel system from the start.

where in Texas are you? There is a tuner in Cedar Park (Austin), a good one in Corpus, a few others.
