Got my hands on a ZL1 finally.
This is a buddies ZL1. He brought it to me for some work. I wanted to see what I could get it to done bone stock with a tune. I only tuned the ECM, the TCM is still locked. So we put it on the dyno for some baseline runs and then I tuned it and took it to the track. I am pretty happy with the results. 10's in 2,900 DA on stock tires isn't bad. We are really going to dig in on the tuning now and see how fast we can get the bone stock engine to go.

Thank you for the information! It is always interesting to see what is possible with these cars.
Just to confirm: a light tune picked up 13.5rwhp and 40rwtrq? |

Peak to peak right now. Still some more stuff to dial in. But down low we picked up 70+ rwtq.

We are planning on getting on the dyno again this Saturday and then hitting the track afterwards.

I am partnered with Ben at Prodigy Automotive and Fabrication in Moncure. 95% of the time we go to Fayetteville Motorsports Park but sometimes we go to Rockingham.

If you don’t mind would you share what drivers mode settings you used and what launch procedure. 1.7’s on stock tires is impressive, but I’m sure that extra low end torque helped a little!

I used Track for some and Touring for some. All the nannies off. It didn't seem to really make a difference.
