This is exactly what my instructor thought. The wheel itself didn't take that hard of a hit though so it's a little weird that the bearing would have been compromised. Is there any way to directly confirm it's the bearing or do I pretty much just need to proactively change it since they probably aren't super expensive?

Front wheel bearing (with wheel studs): AC Delco PN FW445 / GM 13512895 ($75 - $85 price range easy to find on net, Amazon, etc.)

Awesome thank you, this is identical to the part that would be sold directly by Chevy/GM? Do you have the GM part# also by chance?

Probably just order and replace out of caution at that price.

How big of a pain in the ass is it to change that subframe piece? That looks like a hell of a job to do.

I'm not really looking forward to it but unless I'm missing something all the bolts are on the bottom, just need to remove all the plastic shielding, etc. and drop it out.

By the way, this was apparently from when I pulled the wheel back onto the track. I couldn't find any real evidence the wheel itself hit, and this look pretty minor to me?
