Where are the spark plugs located?

hey guys, good morning/afternoon. i'm having a hard time locating where all my spark plugs are on the 6th gen camaro and google/you-tube is of no help. if anyone could show them to me in a picture that would be greatly appreciated.

Find the coil pack on the valve cover and follow the plug wire down.

Made a quick 30 second vid on where the spark plug/coil packs are located. Drivers side is by far the easiest side to work on first. Passenger side, not so much imo.

Since we are on subject, would it be easier or harder to change plugs on the 6th Gen LT1 vs a 4th Gen LS1? They were a b*tch on the 4th Gen.

If you gotta ask stay away from them. You will cause more harm then good screwing with your plugs if you can't find them under a coil pack.

With all the wires it can be confusing since cars no longer use a simple distributor.

But when you really look they are in the same place they have always been, nestle right in next to the exhaust manifold. Now...if some someone can just direct me to where the valve covers are now.

Never had an LS1, but had a 4th gen LT1 and that engine was a pain to work on with it being halfway under the windshield and all! Some of the spark plugs took quite the effort to get to.

The 4th gen was easier than the 6th for one simple reason: cylinder #5 sucks. Relocating the coolant reservoir would make it a fairly easy job though. Like others have said though, you shouldn’t be working on your car if you can’t find the spark plugs. That’s a very simple part to identify, even when you aren’t familiar with a particular engine.
