Flat tire - Drive or not?
Got a flat a few days ago and went to the dealer to get it fix/replaced under warranty (I purchased the tire & wheel warranty), they told me they won't repair and will only replace due to the location of the hole. They ordered a new tire, but it's in backorder
![]() On the meanwhile, I plugged it today - no patch. I was hoping to put some miles on it this weekend to complete the break in procedure, but not sure it will see much action. |

I would drive it, only at legal speeds until you get your new tire. looked like a small injury.

Given it's a small bolt and still solidly in the tread, as opposed to the sidewall, I think you're fine to drive it until the new tire comes in. I just wouldn't push the car too much or take unnecessary risk.

Looks like a round easy to repair hole. I think you're good to go

How did you patch it? If you used a plug, I think you're fine.

Personally I would drive it. I carry a plug kit in the ZL1 with all the time now.
