Wow is that at WOT near redline? If so I'd like to know why I can't seem to run more than 12degrees at an IAT of 130.. Any higher timing and its KR..

If you're at 20+ degrees of timing and you have enough fuel for more boost, bring it on more boost!

So what your saying is lower boost and more timing is better than less timing and more boost?

Its always a balance, but I find that 15-16 degrees is the min that LTs want to run, lowering boost and getting the timing to that level will most probably result in more peak power.

Thanks!. So ever since the Long tubes my boost went from 10+ to now about 8. If I drop back to the 4.00 pulley it would probably put my boost @ 5+lbs. Maybe I can throw some full e85 on there too. Certainly should be running 16+ degrees of timing. You don't think that would hurt power at all?

Ideally you pull 1° for every 1 psi of boost. So if the engine was running 24-25° NA on 93, you pull 8° for 8psi. That puts you 16-17°. Get the timing up where it needs to be and it's going to feel like a different animal.
