Corsa install question

I just installed the Corsa cat back. Removing the driver side of the stock system with the slip clamp was a PITA! In the process of removing, I destroyed the gray foam type seal and was unable to reuse it. 1: do I need it/will it leak? (I haven’t been able to start the car yet...kids sleeping when I finished.). 2: if I need it, does anyone know a part number to replace it with?

Well...I found it. Looks like it’s the whole clamp. So...do I need it?

Same thing happened to me. I gently put mine back inside the clamp. Kinda smoothed out the putty texture with my finger then applied the copper rtv. Let the copper rtv set for 10 min before you fit it back together. Be careful not the push the rtv and ring back out when you hook it all back up.

It’s a pain in the ass and I’m sure you could just buy the clamp but I remember when I look it up at Chevy it was like 150$. Good luck
