18's help the gear for drag racing but this is an R/T pony car. Did you do this for both?I won't budge from 18's as I enjoy light to light sometimes. And I am "Old school".

This is a dedicated road course car. I had hohos, and there is plenty more selection of tires in 18’s... this the reason for this

Get the KLS01! Those are BC Forged new wheels! Depends on how much you like departing with your money, I personally do not see a benefit paying the premium for a set of HRE wheels. I tracked my C7 GS with BC Forged and as you see many others have with no issue they are great wheels at a reasonable price that have a drop dead beautiful design and finish. I’m going with Bc forged myself, but if I was going to spend 1500+ per wheel I would do Forgeline wheels instead of HRE. For the money you can’t beat BC’s tho.

No front brake clearance issues at all? I might sell my 19" 1le factory rims to do this.

Plenty of guys would line up to buy your wheels to help offset the cost. https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showt...=535849&page=3

. FYI - If you change your mind, go with a good vendor rep like PK Auto and company like BC, Forgeline, etc. that have experience with this specific fitment because many / most 18” won’t clear the calipers at all.

Interesting. I wonder how much clearance would be required on an SS 1LE to pull off 18" wheels with some fat tires.
