They just played a better game. No one gave it up easy though!

That was one of the best defensive performances in the modern Super Bowl era by the Patriots. Julian Edleman did play great getting the MVP, but the defense won the game for the Patriots.
For the season, the Rams averaged 32.9 points, 421.1 yards per game on offense. The Pats held them to only 62 yards rushing and 229 passing, and only 3 points. The Rams never entered the red zone the entire game. This Pats defense is without a doubt one of the most underrated defenses ever to play the game.

I didn't watch it, none of it, so I am not allowed to bash. But cool for the Pats.

Then you watched more of it than I did. Quit following all stick and ball sports years ago when the players started acting like the hood rats they are.

I am happy for the long-suffering fans in Boston who have finally seen their three month championship drought come to an end.

Currently living in NC I was born in the wonderful/cold State of Maine. We have five beautiful granddaughters there with the oldest being a "hard core" New England fan. Watched the entire game while she and were constantly texting back and forth. That made the game so much more valuable to me, for this I will remember Super Bowl LIII for ever. Would like to have a very small cut of the money they all received!
