This is the first set of Continental tires I have had on any of my cars and truck that I have owned.
With the wider size in the rear could you tell a noticeable difference or improvement in traction over the stock goodyears?

I think it improved the traction Need 4. I do know that they ride much better than the GY runflats.

Is there any way I can see a photo of how the rears look and another of the entire setup?

I have those General GMax on a 2017 Miata RF, they are great tires and very reasonably priced. They replaced a set of Bridgestone Potenzas that we only got about 19k miles out of. About two weeks on the Generals so far - much better in cooler, wet weather and quieter. I am sure we're giving something up in terms of absolute performance, but it feels like the right compromise for a car that's driven every day. $655 installed, including the road hazard protection.

I'm thinking about the Cooper ZEON RS3. Is that what you got? If so... How do they corner? How quiet on Highway? My stock runflats break loose on demand in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear. How is traction?

I don't drive my Camaro in the snow, but these tires solved my cold-wet traction problem with no penalty at the drag strip. (Stock engine and torque converter).

Also a very cool looking directional tread pattern. These tires cannot be rotated side to side but are wearing fine after about 20,000 miles.
The BFG's tested well on Tire Rack, and I considered getting those, but then I saw a few cars with them installed, and the shoulder blocks are huge. They look like truck tires.

I know you said you were steering away from summer tires, but... I want to 2nd the person that recommended the Continental Extremecontact Sport. I put them on my SS (in stock sizes) and they're incredible in the rain. If it gets below about 3ºC (~37ºF) they don't grip as well, but I don't drive it much when it's that cold, they've been fine so far. I dunno how cold it gets where you are.

In the dry they're great, and in the wet... holy hell are they good! I took it autocrossing in pouring rain, I'm still a novice, and I placed 2nd in my class, out of about 30 people. I definitely credit the tires with that, not my driving skill! I was scoring about middle of the pack before replacing the tires.

During winter months, surprisingly Austin TX gets much colder than I expected it to. This fall through winter we have been seeing 30's and 40's fairly frequently and alot of rain.

I'll look into these.

Michelin Pilot Sport A/S+

The stock runflats have finally started to hit the 1/16th marker after about 21k miles (1 month shy of 3 years) and I'm so over the crap traction they have. Super garbage on even ideal roads, much less on something damp. Almost felt like i was back up north driving on icy roads. So with any luck, these new ones will be drastically better.

Going for stock size (245/40ZR20). Was debating keeping with the runflats but they all get crap treadwear ratings except the OEM one and I'm guessing they only achieved that by using super hard rubber ...hence the crap traction.
I am curious how you like the Michelins? I am about at that point and the tire is highly recommended and I have had good luck with Michelin in the past. The Eagles are just plain dangerous on wet pavement. Also, how about noise? My Eagles sound like a F16 on takeoff...

In short, I know I will sacrifice some cornering of the summer tires, but I think its a better compromise than sacrificing the entire car when it rains.
Summer tires don't have to sacrifice wet grip, and of the three, PS4S.

I'd even add the Pilot Super Sport to your list for your driving, assuming you can find it in appropriate size(s). This wet track session video (2" of rain that day) is getting to be an old video, but what it illustrates is still more than valid for estimating street performance in the rain. If it doesn't embed, search for "g6brVFxPSPw" on Youtube. The PS4S is supposed to be better still.

I've gotten 40-degree and below in Florida already in the last month. With the Coopers, I didn't notice any increased fade on dry surfaces all the way down to 36-degrees, once the tires warmed up.

I'm still against Conti's because their sidewalls are too soft, they flat spot too much when they sit, and they don't stay stiff enough in the corners. If you like your tires feeling like a drag tire all the time get the Conti's, but if you want cornering in your daily driver get something else.

The Cooper RS3-G1's cost me just under 715$ shipped for all 4 from ST. Right now the price is 805$, but if you sign up for their email alerts, they do send out legit 10/15/20% coupons for certain brands almost every 2 weeks. The Coopers were new and not on sale when I got them, surprised they are already going up in price, but the last Cooper coupon I got was 20% off, which would've made the price 645$ instead of 805$.

Another thing -- Cooper developed the RS3-G1 on the 6th gen Camaro and even premiered them on it for their media day. General doesn't authorize warranty for install on the 6th gen Camaro with any of their current tires.
