This ought to be an easy one. Procharger Intake Temp question
This is probably an easy one to answer and I think I may already know but wanted to toss it out there.
So my IAT typically runs 5 to 10 degrees over ambient. Is Ambient the temp sensor out in front on the passenger side of my intercooler? Also how come it can read different than the Temp on the MyLink.. Also, since the intercooler is outside of the engine compartment. Where is that 5 to 10 degrees coming from? Is that just some heatsoak from the engine bay where the charge pipe, Maf, headunit, etc are picking up?

I believe the IAT is in the MAF, so the intake of the PC is over the exhaust header drivers side, then it goes through a spinning blade at 10x engine speed, a bunch of lines and turbulence. So believable. I do have IAT during Texas stop and go and don't want to mention it. I will say this. My GLH-S with optional Shelby brain etc, had no problem dealing with GN back in the day because the GN in Texas had some REALLY REALLY bad heat soak issues...
