Build Questions for Eforce 2300?

Currently I have a 2016 SS with an Eforce 2300, Headers, Rotofab, and Borla ATAK.

I want to pull the blower off and add the LT4 Hi side pump, LT4 injectors, and the DSX low side pump..

1. While the blower is off I want to add ported LT4 heads ( The LT1s are 59cc and the LT4 are 64cc) what will the compression change to?

2. Will the LT4 heads bolt on to the LT1 block with no problems?

3. Will LT4 head gaskets work?

4 I was told that the eforces are drilled to accommodate both LT1 and Lt4 heads?

5. I don't plan on changing the cam yet but, would it do any good to do the DOD delete and run LS7 lifters and trays or can you not do this until you do the cam and mess with the limiter?

Thanks in advanced.

I wouldn't change the heads...just drop in a set of lower compression forged pistons. The price would probably be about the same and you addressed the weakest link in the engine.

You need a different cam to run non dod lifters. I would do Johnson 2110 instead of LS7.

Ya I didn't want to mess with pulling the motor out quite yet for the cam or drop in pistons.

The LT4 heads are just laying around...

That changes things a bit...I have not seen or heard of anybody changing over to LT4 heads yet, so I don't have much to offer. I would be curious to know more about it.

Looking at the flow numbers the lt4s are better, I heard they were thicker material, and I can't see how lower compression would hurt.

You might want to look the 2300 over first to confirm both bolt patterns for the heads. The latest blowers from them accept both but I can’t recall hearing that for older blowers.
