Think you've been getting some very bad info. EVERY 700+ rwhp claim that I've seen for an LT1 has fuel upgrades of some sort. Those who claim 'stock fuel system' on 700+ are lying, and they have, at minimum, added a methanol injection system. Don't know about you, but my stock LT1 fuel system did not have an extra injector/injectors to squirt methanol (a fuel) into the engine.

Put the bullshit aside and you'll see that the stock LT1 fuel system will max out probably around 550 to 575 rwhp or so on a supercharged car. I'm talking low altitude numbers, but even corrected for 2300 feet elevation will only be a little higher. Real hp of course is what matters, but most people ignore that aspect. Once you have a more realistic assessment of the relationship between your existing power level and the stock fuel system, then you can better understand what jumping up another 200rwhp means with regards to fuel supply requirements.

I agree...no way any LT1 is getting 700whp on the stock fuel system. Adding meth doesn't mean you can claim stock fueling either and I have seen some try and claim that on Facebook. Anything that supplements fueling is a fuel system upgrade. I have seen some get close to 700 spraying 100% meth and the engine is relying on it 100% to keep from going boom. Not the correct way to use Meth imo.

How would you have a more realistic assessment of the existing numbers if the dyno was corrected to this elevation and the numbers are on the sheet ? Lol. Theres guys on here that live at 8000ft and with a blower only make 450hp on the dyno.. so the numbers should be pretty close to what the actual horse power is. Your getting to technical with it, i was just wanting to know what would be needed to show 700whp on a dyno. Dyno here says 543whp and 563tq so same dyno what would be needed to get higher? More or less was wondering what guys have done in a actual senario. Not what people think its gonna need. Iron garage, cts, and ccmr here in canada all said if you dont pass 700 the stock system will be fine with lash cap. Will it be more reliable? Probably not but beats paying 2-3k for a pump and install. Once pump shows signs of failing then ya change it out

Yes they said meth might be a option needed to get that number but they said it shouldnt be that far off without
